Who runs the service
Burgo’s sites and apps are run by Burgo, operated by José Burgos (natural person), based in Maracaibo, Venezuela. Contact: dev@burgo.dev. By using them you accept these terms and the Privacy policy.
⚖️ Pending lawyer review. Natural person versus company and personal liability. While Burgo is a natural person, liability is not separate from José’s personal assets.
What the service is
Burgo’s apps (Account, Cancha, Pique, Brío, Cuadre and any that are added) are offered free and “as is”: with no guarantee of availability, of being error-free or of fitness for a particular purpose. They may change or close with reasonable notice. Cabal and custom projects have their own conditions; see Cabal plans.
Each app carries its own notices:
- Brío: it is not a medical device and does not replace a health professional. Figures are estimates. See a doctor before changing your diet or physical activity.
- Cuadre: it is not financial, accounting or tax advice. It does not move, receive or hold money: it records what you enter. Debts between users are informational notes. It shows only the official BCV rate, with its source and time.
- Cancha: shared expenses are informational; the app neither organises nor guarantees payments. Use of the pitches is the players’ responsibility.
- Fase: community-provided information, unverified and unofficial; it does not replace Corpoelec or civil protection; it does not state causes. It is not published.
- Sobre: independent project, not affiliated with The Pokémon Company or the stores; prices and stock carry no guarantee.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older to create an account. Pique lets you play without an account using a temporary nickname.

- One person, one account. Do not transfer or sell it.
- You can delete it whenever you want: see Delete your account.

You may not use the service to:
- Incite hatred or violence, or discriminate.
- Harass, threaten or impersonate another person.
- Publish third parties’ personal data (doxxing) or intimate content without permission.
- Publish sexual content or content that shows or exposes minors.
- Send spam, unsolicited advertising, or attempt fraud.
- Deliberately spread false information.
- In power-outage reports: comment on politics or attribute causes or culprits.

Details and the reporting procedure are in Acceptable use.
Your content and the licence
What you post remains yours. You give us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store it, show it to whoever you choose (your group, your room) and process it only to run the service. We do not use it for advertising or sell it.
Moderation
We may review reported content, including chat messages, and its immediate context; remove it, warn, suspend or close accounts that break these terms. We do not read chat routinely or in full. We will tell you the reason and how to appeal where possible. Content involving minors or sexual content is removed immediately.
⚖️ Pending lawyer review. Liability for third-party content (Resorte Law), removal deadlines (Law against Hatred: 6 hours) and the validity of the procedure described.
Orders from authorities
We will respond to requests from a competent authority made in writing and will limit what we hand over to what the order requires. Where lawful, we will notify you.
⚖️ Pending lawyer review. Protocol for responding to orders from CONATEL, the Public Prosecutor’s Office or other bodies, and what data is handed over.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Burgo is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or for decisions you make based on what the apps show. We do not limit liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
⚖️ Pending lawyer review. Scope and validity of the limitation of liability, especially towards consumers outside Venezuela.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Disputes go to the competent courts of Maracaibo, without prejudice to the rights your own country’s law gives you as a consumer.
⚖️ Pending lawyer review. Governing law and jurisdiction.
Changes
We may change these terms. Material changes are announced with at least 15 days’ notice on this site and, once available, inside the apps. Continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept them. Version 1.0, in force since November 2, 2026. Versioned acceptance by each user is in preparation.
